' The brief facts leading to this revision are that the petitioners Zulfiqar Ali, Allah Yar, Muhammad Rafiq, Muhammad Waryam, sons of Muhnmmad Din moved an application before the District Collector.
Multan seeking correction in the entries of register Girdairari for the year 1973 to Rabi 1978 in respect of Khasra Nos. 48/1 to 11, 12/1, 14 to 17, 19-1, 20 to 25 and 49/1, 2, 9, 10 of Chak No 27/10-R, Tehsil Khanewal. The subject land had been allotted to their father Muhammad Din under ten year's scheme on 23-8-1969. Muhammad Din died in the year 1971 on which the land was transferred to Muhammad Ramzan who is the real brother of the petitioners. According to the contention made by the petitioners before the District Collector, they alongwith their brother Muhammad Ramzan had been cultivating the land but the entries in register Girdawari were being made only in the name of Muhammad Rarnzan upto 1978. However, from 1979 onwards the entries were made in the joint name of the petitioners and the respondent. The application tendered by the petitioners before the District Collector for correction in the entries of register Girdawari was sent to the Tehsildar, Kl-anewal for enquiry who recommended correction in favour of the petitioners. The application was, however, turned down by the District Collector, on 30-4-1983. The petitioners having failed in their appeal before the Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Multan, on 16-2-1984 have now come up in revision.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the respondent Muhammad Ramzan. The respondent concedes the contention of the petitioner that they had been jointly cultivating the land during 1973-1978. Since this claim is also endorsed by the field report of the Tehsildar, Khanewal, I would accept the revision and order that the petitioners along with respondent Muhammad Ramzan should be recorded as joint cultivator of the subject land for the period 1973 to Rabi 1978.
