ORDER

ASLAM RIAZ HUSSAIN, J.--This petition is directed against the judgment of the High Court, dated 14-12-1977, dismissing petitioners' writ petition.

2. Facts, briefly, are that the petitioners are stated to have been allotted a ration depot by the District Magistrate, Sahiwal, on the recommendation of the District Allotment Board constituted under the West Pakistan Food Stuff (Distribution) Order, 1967. The respondents who were unsuccessful applicants for the allotment of depot filed Writ Petition No. 1030 of 1972 against the allotment of the depot to the petitioners on the ground that the District Allotment Board had not been constituted in accordance with the relevant legal provisions. The writ petition was accepted by the High Court vide the impugned judgment.

Hence the present petition for leave to appeal.

3. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and gone through the impugned judgment as well as the relevant law. (We find no flaw in the judgment of the High Court and feel that it rightly held that the District Allotment Board was not validly constituted and assuch the allotment of the depot made on the recommendation of the said Board was without lawful authority.

The petition is, therefore, dismissed as having no merit. revisions by the competent authorities. Therefore, it is advisable to consult the official sources or legal professionals for the most up-to-date and accurate information.
