ORDER

1. ' ABAID ULLAH KHAN, J.-The petitioner has impugned the election of respondent 2 of the Municipal Corporation, Lahore before Punjab Local Councils Election Authority which has adjourned the hearing of his petition to the 13th October, 1983. The petitioner applied to the Election Authority for grant of interim relief restraining respondent 2 from taking oath of the office of councilor on the 12th October, 1983 but the Authority did not pass any order in that behalf. The learned counsel for the petitioner says that by means of the present writ petition the only relief that the petitioner seeks is that respondent 2 should be prevented from taking oath of the office of councilor on the 12th October, 1983. This Court in writ jurisdiction would not like to issue temporary injuncation order simply because the petitioner has not been able to get this relief from the Election Authority which has seized with the matter. The petition is dismissed in limine.
