1. Through these applications under section 10 of the Industrial Relations Ordinance, 1969, the Registrar of Trade Unions has prayed that the registration of the respondent-Unions be cancelled because they did not file the Annual Returns and also because they are not in existence. Notices issued to the respondent-Unions were returned unserved with the remarks that their offices were closed for a couple of years.
2. It is on record that the Annual Returns were not filed. I am also satisfied that the, Unions have ceased to function. The registration of the respondent-Unions must, therefore, be cancelled and I direct the Registrar of Trade Unions accordingly.
