The Inspector General of Police, Punjab presented some documents showing the steps he has taken to find out the whereabouts of the detenue which is nothing except efforts to waste and prolong the matter.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that prior to arrest of detenue from Sialkot, the police party conducted raid at the house of the detenue situated in Lahore without any legal justification. In this view of the matter, Inspector General of Police, Punjab is directed to file reply in this regard today within office hours.
3. The Inspector General of Police, Punjab is directed to recover and produce the alleged detenue on 22.05.2023 at 09:30 A.M. in the Court positively failing which law will takes its own course.
4. It is also directed that on the said date:-
(i) Deputy Commissioner, Sialkot shall attend the Court proceedings alongwith record of all detention orders.
(ii) Superintendent Jail shall also appear in person alongwith record.
(iii) S.H.O. concerned shall also produce original Roznamcha on the said date.
