At the very outset, when the learned counsel for the petitioner was confronted that what wrong has been committed by the High Court while refusing the application for interim relief on the ground that the report has been prepared and submitted in compliance of the order of the Apex Court; she stated that she would be satisfied if this petition is dispose d of while maintaining the status quo with a direction to the High Court to expeditiously decide the main lis.
2. Keeping in view the overall facts and circumstances of the case as well as the request of learned counsel for the petitioner , this petition as well as application for interim relief is disposed of with a direction to the High Court to see the possibility of expeditious disposal of the main lis. Meanwhile the status quo prevailing at the moment shall be maintained.
