1. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are respectable persons and they are being harassed by the police off and on by involving them in false cases therefore , they to be protected from such harassment of the police by ordering the police to seek permission from this Court, if the petitioners are required to be involved in any criminal case.
2. No condition could be attached with the police to seek permission from this Court for registration of FIR against the petitioners on commission of incident on the basis of well founded accusation. Such condition if is imposed would be contrary to law and illegal. The registration of FIR is a legal course, same could hardly be said to be harassment, which could be prevented by this Court in exercise of its constitutional jurisdiction. Consequently , the instant petition is dismissed.
