1. Muhammad Ali Mazhar , J. Learned counsel for the petitioner argued that against the order passed by the respondent No.3 on the complaint filed by the respondent No.2, the petitioner preferred an appeal/representation under Section 9 of the Protection Against Harassment of Women at Workplace, Act, 2010 to the respondent No.1.

He further argued that three notices were issued for hearing of appeal but on telephonic communication it was informed that hearing is adjourned or deferred, whereas, on one date the representative of the petitioner and complainant all were present and willing to proceed but the matter was again adjourned without any plausible justification. Learned AAG submits that this matter may be disposed of on simple directions to the respondent No.1 to hear and decide the appeal on merits within some reasonable period of time and that proposal has been seconded by the petitioner 's counsel. In view of the joint statement, this petition is disposed of along with pending application with the directions to the respondent No.1 to decide the representation/appeal submitted to him under Section 9 of the Protection Against Harassment of Women a Workplace Act, 2010 within a period of thirty (30) days after providing ample opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and respondent No.2. Copy of this order may be provided to the learned AAG for onward transmission to the respondent No.1 secretariat.
