2. Instant petition was disposed of by order dated 21.01.2020 with direction to the petitioner to evict the premises within eight months from that date and to hand over the possession. Counsel for the petitioner contends that subject matter property is a shop and due to covid-19 pandemic, it remained closed, as well due to lock down he was unable to search and find any suitable shop; learned counsel requests for extension of time.
Contention raised by learned counsel carries weight. Accordingly , three months' time is extended from today to handover the possession of the demised premises to the respondent No.3. In case of failure, executing court would be competent to receive the possession without issuing notice to the petitioner . Listed application stands disposed of.
