1. This petition is called for hearing. None present on behalf of the petitioner , no intimation received. It is now 12:50 p.m. It is stated that this petition pertains to year 2009 and according to counsel for the respondent No.2 that the petitioner had already retired on 01.11.2014 and other respondents have also been retired against whom the promotion have been claimed, therefore, according to him, this petition has become infructuous. Looking to these aspects of the case and deliberate absence of the counsel for the petitioner , this petition stands dismissed in non- prosecution.
