1. The appellant for an offence punishable u/s 8 of SPPMSGM Act 2019 is convicted and sentenced to undergo R.I for one year with fine of Rs.200,000/- and in case of default to undergo Simple imprisonment for three months by learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Tando Muhammad Khan vide judgment dated 17th day of November 2020, which is impugned by the appellant before this Court. It has been admitted to regular hearing. In the meanwhile, the appellant has sought for suspension of the operation of the impugned judgment and his release on bail by way of listed application, which is not opposed by the learned A.P.G for the State.
2. The conviction / sentence awarded to the appellant is short one and hearing of his appeal is likely to take time therefore, the operation of impugned judgment is suspended. Consequently , the appellant is ordered to be released on bail subject to furnishing surety in sum of Rs.30,000/- and PR bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of Additional Registrar of this Court.
3. The listed application is disposed of accordingly .
