Counsel for the petitioners as well as counsel for the respondents have no objection if the instant petition is disposed of along with the pending applications in the same terms as already directed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of Pakistan vide order dated 21.11.2017 in Civil Petitions No.2781 to 2783 and 2980 of 2017 in the following manner:- "The Managing Director (MD) of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has appeared on Court' s call and states that the process for the regular appointment of the respondents has already been initiated and an advertisement in this context has also been issued. Further , the respondents have applied for that purpose and if anyone has failed to do so, he may apply within this week and thereafter the process shall be finalized within a period of six months. It is categorically stated that the respondents, who do qualify , shall be accommodated in the regularization process.
2. In the light of the above, we dispose of these petitions as having becom e infructuous. However , if the respondents are not appointed/accommodated, as has been undertaken by the MD, OGDCL, they may move an application for resurrection of these petitions.
3. As far as the contempt proceedings initiated before the learned High Court on the basis of the impugned judgment are concerned, shall remain suspended."
Since in the instant matter, admittedly the respondents /OGDCL have consented that the petitioners shall be accommodated in the regularization process as an when it is initiated. It is expected that as an when the said regularization process is being made by the respondents No.2 and 3, the cases of the petitioners with regard to their regularization may also be considered in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of Pakistan as discussed supra strictly in accordance with law.
With these directions, the instant petition along with the listed applications is disposed of.
