1. This order shall dispose of appeal No.26 of 2005 filed under Section 33 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act, 1997 against the order dated 27/06/05 passed by the Respondent under Sub-section (1) of Section 282 J read with Sub-section (1) of 282 M and 282 K of the Companies Ordinance 1984. The appeal was fixed for hearing today i.e. 11/11/15 and was called at 09:30 am; the Respondent was present as stated above, however, no one appeared before the Appellate Bench on behalf of the Appellant and no request for adjournment was received by this office. The matter was kept pending till 05:00 pm; however the Appellant failed to enter appearance despite repeated calls. The conduct of the Appellant reflects his intention and it appears that he is not interested in pressing the present appeal, therefore, the appeal is dismissed for non-appearance and non-prosecution.
