1. This order shall dispose of Appeal No. 31 of 2014 filed under section 33 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act, 1997 against the order dated 26/02/14 passed by the Respondent. The appeal was fixed for hearing on 03/08/15 and was called at 05:00 pm; the Respondent representative was present as stated above, however, neither any one appeared on behalf of the Appellant before the Appellate Bench nor was request for adjournment received by this office. The matter was kept pending till 06:00 pm; however the Appellant failed to enter appearance despite repeated calls. From the conduct of the Appellant it appears that it is not interested in pressing the present Appeal, therefore, the Appeal is dismissed for non-appearance and non-prosecution.
