1. This order is in appeal No. 30 of 2013 filed under section 33 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (the "Commission") Act, 1997 ("SECP Act") against the order (the "Impugned Order") dated 11/04/13 passed by the Respondent. The appeal was fixed for hearing previously on 14/05/15 but no one appeared on behalf of the Appellant nor was any request for adjournment received. The appeal was re-fixed for hearing on 12/08/15 and was called for hearing at 5:00 pm; the Respondent was present as stated above, however, no one appeared on behalf of the Appellant before the Appellate Bench. In the circumstances, the Bench has observed that the conduct of the Appellant depicts that they are not interested in pressing the present Appeal, therefore, the Appeal is dismissed for non-appearance and non-prosecution.
