1. This Order is in Appeal No, 8 of 2014 filed under section 33 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act, 1997 against the order dated 17/02/14 (the "Impugned Order") passed by the Respondent. The Appellant was provided hearing opportunity on March 09, 2015. The Appellant neither appeared not sought any adjournment.
2. In the interest of justice a final opportunity of hearing was provided to the Appellant on May 06, 2015. The appeal was called for hearing at 12:10 p.m.; however no one appeared on behalf of the Appellant. The matter was kept pending till the close of official timings however the Appellant failed to enter appearance despite repeated calls and no request for adjournment was received. The representative of the Respondent was present. The above stated facts depicts the conduct of the Appellant and it appears that he is not interested in pressing the present Appeal, therefore, the Appeal is dismissed for non-appearance and non- prosecution.
