' Petitioner who is behind the bar since 21.3.2015 was arrested by a police party while being in possession of 1120 grams Charas of which 10-grams were separated for chemical analysis, After conclusion of investigation he has been sent to face trial.

3. It is one of the border line cases. Ever-since submission of report under Section 173, Cr.P.C.
Apparently there seems no progress towards the conclusion of trial. All investigative formalities having been completed and as such continuous detention of the petitioner is serving no useful purpose; given the quantity recovered whether the prosecution would be able to bring home charge under Section 9-C of CNSA, 1997 is a question which for the present calls for further inquiry, consequently, we allow this petition and the petitioner is admitted to bail subject to his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs, 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lac only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court.
