Muhammad Ali Mazhar, J: The case of the Petitioner is that he is Vice Chairman of Board of Governors for Shahdadpur Institute of Medical Sciences. On 15.10.2014, Respondent No.3 served a notice to move privilege motion under Rules 71 & 72 of Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, 2013. He lodged a complaint against the Petitioner that he misbehaved in the meeting and also breached the privilege of the house. On his complaint, the Secretary, Provincial Assembly of Sindh constituted a committee to examine the compliant. Since October, 2014 these proceedings were pending without any final decision on the compliant but all of sudden a news was flashed in daily "KAWISH" dated 16.02.2015 in which it was reported that committee has decided the matter and convicted the Petitioner for seven days imprisonment, therefore, on this apprehension, the Petitioner approached this court and vide order dated 16.02.2015, this court passed an order to maintain status quo.

Mr. Liaqat Kalwar, Law Officer, Provincial Assembly Sindh is present with the learned A.A.G and he clearly stated that matter is still pending before the Committee and no final decision has been taken, therefore, the news item published in the news paper before the decision of the Committee was misleading and misconceived and no such news was ever circulated by the Committee as matter is still pending. It is further stated that Committee will decide the matter strictly in accordance with law.
3. In view of this statement, learned counsel for the Petitioner is satisfied, petition is disposed of accordingly.
