ORDER

1. ' NOOR-UL-HAQ N. QURESHI, J.--- During arguments it transpired that only controversy between the parties with regard to the pendency of departmental proceedings which the petitioner has conceded to be a stigma. Same being hurdle in his way for further promotion, has been called in question.

2. ' Learned counsel for the respondents admitted the position disclosed by referring certain documents available on record that the proceedings departmentally initiated are still pending and not decided finally. However, it is conceded by learned counsel for the respondents that in case if directions be issued, the said proceedings will be expedited and finalized within the period stipulated by the Court.

3. ' Under these circumstances, respondents are directed to expedite the proceedings departmentally initiated and same be concluded within a period of one month. Also an objection raised by learned counsel for the IA petitioner regarding conduct of respondent with regard to stoppage of house rent ceiling since June, 2012 without adopting any legal course and requested for issuance of direction for release of same. Respondents are directed to release all the benefits including house rent ceiling of petitioner.

4. ' With these directions, instant writ petition is disposed of . revisions by the competent authorities. Therefore, it is advisable to consult the official sources or legal professionals for the most up-to-date and accurate information.
