ORDER

' IJAZ AHMAD, J.---The comments have been submitted. Both the learned counsel for the parties are ready to advance the arguments. This case will be treated as Pakka Case'.

2. The petitioners through the instant constitution petition, seeks admission to M. Sc. Criminology in Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan.

3. It is contended that they stood on merit, yet were denied the admission. It is further contended that the petitioner No,1 is a Silver Medalist in LL.B (Hons.) for the session 2006-2011; that the respondents have denied the admission to the petitioners in the University in violation of the Articles 14 and 25 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 which guarantee that all the citizens shall be dealt with on the basis of equality and in accordance with the law and in violation of the prospectus which ensures the admission in university on merits.

4. On the other hand, it is averred in the comments and is so argued by the learned legal advisor that four criminal cases have been registered against the petitioners. They were indulged in instigating the other students and were responsible for affray and arson at many occasions. Their admission in the university would have disturbed the atmosphere in the university. He refers to the rules and regulations regarding admission to under graduate and post graduate programs to argue that university Authority can refuse admission without assigning any reason and in the instant case, there were reasons to refuse the admission.

5. I have heard the arguments and perused the record.

6.. Criminal cases for causing injury, attempt to commit murder, theft, etc. Have been registered against the petitioners. There is allegation that they were responsible for causing hindrance in, advancing the academic activities in the institution. In this situation, I do not see any reason to interfere in the administrative matters. This petition has no force and is dismissed.
