1. Grievance of the complainant is that he being a consumer of respondent/SNGPL bearing reference No. 58505672038, in the month of February2012 received a bill amounting to Rs. 110539/- which is far in excess of the actual consumption.

2. I have heard the arguments and also perused the record produced by the senior billing officer SNGPL. The demand notice issued by the company was deposited by the consumer on 12.05.2009 whereas the meter was installed on 18.112009 at the premises of the complainant. According to the billing officer as per verbal instruction of the Court on the previous date of hearing the account of the consumer has been thoroughly over-hauled and on the basis of actual consumption correctly recorded by the meter at the site the consumer has been charged an amount of Rs. 5920/- for the period of 18.11.2009 to 04.04.2012.

3. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to issue the fresh bill of Rs. 5920/- for consumption of gas by the consumer till 04.04.2012. If any amount has been paid by the consumer during this period that shall be adjusted in the account. The complainant is directed to deposit the outstanding dues immediately. With this observation complaint being born fruitful is disposed off.
