MUHAMMAD AMEER BHATTI, J.- That the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Station Attendant 'ASA' in BPS-5 on 2.4.2010 and thereafter the petitioner has submitted his joining report on 5.4.2010 but he is not being paid salary accordingly.

Paraywise comments have been filed, in response to Para No. 1 reply is as under:-- "That in fact the petitioner alongwith fifty (50) others were appointed and same wee issued appointment letters against different posts under direct quota after completing selection process in a very transparent manner, purely on the basis of merit. Ever since Issuance of the appointment letters to the petitioner and others, a faction union at Thermal Power Station, Guddu has been frisking hue and cry against the said appointments, alleging the corruption and nepotism. The shortsighted members of this faction union had persistently been striving for the achievement of their ulterior motives. So making the direct appointments under direct quota is in no way the problem of the union, hence making it a matter of prestige is in no way come under their mandate especially after expiry/lapse of Industrial Relations Act, 2008 (the "IRA 2008").
3. From the parawise comments it is clearly admitted that the petitioner was appointed and reported on duty on 5.4.2010.
4. In view of the admission on the part of the respondents, as the petitioner has been duly appointed and has also joined in service. This Court has no option except to issue direction to the respondents for the release of salary of the petitioner from the date of his joining i.e. 5.4.2010.
5. With this observation, this petition stands disposed of.
