According to the complainant, record of his sister Anam Razzaq D/o Abdur- Razzaq was correct up to 8th class and her date of birth was mentioned in her certificate and B form was mentioned as 04-07-1994 but in the 9th class, his sister's date of birth has wrongly been mentioned as 04-07- 1984; that the complainant has tried his level best to get corrected his sister's date of birth but has been failed. He also contacted the respondent and Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bahawalpur in this regard but in vain. Thereafter, he has moved this petition.

From the other side, the version of the respondent is that Anam Razzaq D/o Abdur- Razzaq got admission in 9th class on 01-04-09; that she appeared in 9th class examination and failed in two subjects and later one, she appeared as private candidate in Matric Annual Examination 2011 but was again failed. Now, she has come to know that her date of birth has wrongly been mentioned in the board registration return as 04-07-1984 instead of 04-07-1994. According to the rules of the Board, the date of birth can be corrected within one year and she can do so from the said board.
3. According to the school record, her date of birth is 04-07-1994.

After a careful scrutiny of the record placed on file, the court has observed that the complainant has produced original certificate of Grade 8th Examination Certificate issued by Punjab Examination Commission Bahawalpur as Mark-A. The date of birth mentioned therein is 04-07- 1994. The complainant has also placed on record photo copy of registration return issued by the Board as Mark-B wherein date of birth has been mentioned as 04-07-1984. Whereas, in the register of admission of Govt Girls High School 32/B.C Dera Bakha, Bahawalpur make out that date of birth of Anam Razzaq is 04-07-1994, copy is Mark-C and that of form B is Mark-D. The Head Mistress of the said school has also admitted that according to the record of the school, the date of birth of Anam Razzaq is 04-07-1994. There is no material on file to rebut the evidence produced by the complainant. Therefore, it is proved beyond any shadow of doubt that actual date of birth of Anam Razzaq D/o Abdur- Razzaq is 04-07-1994 and it has wrongly been mentioned in the board registration return as 04-07-1984. Accordingly, the complaint is allowed in favour of the petitioner and against the respondent and the Board. The Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bahawalpur is therefore, directed to get corrected the record of the board and to issue registration return in accordance with the order of the court. So that actual date of birth of the student be incorporated in the Secondary School certified as 04-07-1994. File be put up for the execution of the order on 11-11-2011.
