IJAZ AHMAD CHAUDHRY, J.---Through this petition under section 11 of the Punjab Undesirable Cooperative Societies (Dissolution of Act 1 1993) the petitioner has sought for issuance of a direction to PCBL to register the claim of the petitioner and for making the payment.
2. Briefly the facts narrated in this petition are that the petitioner is a lame and disabled old lady from her legs who had opened an Account No,2193 on 2-11-1989 in the NICFC Chichawatni Branch District Sahiwal/respondent No,2 and deposited a sum of Rs,22,733 on different occasions which is mentioned in para. No.l of this petition. The petitioner approached the office of respondent No.l and inquired about the whereabouts of her case. The officials told the petitioner that the original record was available in the office and the petitioner should approach to this court for the registration of her case as earlier the claim of petitioner could not be entertained.
3. I have perused the petition according to which petitioner claims to be lame and disabled lady, who visited the concerned office in time but her claim was not entertained. On the other hand the respondent in the reply has submitted that the account of the petitioner for Rs.23,439 as per ledger folio in the name of Mumtaz Begum/petitioner against defunct NICFC is not registered with PCBLE.
As the petitioner has attached deposit receipts with this petition, the PCBL is directed to hold an inquiry and if amount is found in the account of the petitioner and the receipts are genuine her claim should be registered. With the foregoing direction this petition is disposed of accordingly.
