Parties' contentions heard and record perused.

2. Petitioners contend that in March 2010 they applied for issuance of demand notices for provision of sui gas connections but the respondents have not issued the same so far. On the other hand, such notices were issued to the persons who applied subsequent to the petitioners. Attention was also drawn to photo copies of demand notices issued to Muhammad Abdul Khaliq and Bashir Ahmed in April 2010 despite the fact that they had applied for demand notices subsequent to the petitioner which is not fair on the part of respondents. When confronted with this, respondents' representative could not justify their arbitrary treatment.

3. In view of above, the petition is disposed of with the direction that respondents shall entertain petitioners' applications for issuance of demand notices and providing sui gas connection as early as possible. Petitioners are directed to approach respondents with a copy of this order for compliance.

4. After completion, file be consigned to record room. revisions by the competent authorities. Therefore, it is advisable to consult the official sources or legal professionals for the most up-to-date and accurate information.
