M.A. ZAFAR, J. --- The petitioner Liaqat A.I, has filed this petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 with the following prayer:-- "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this august Court may be pleased to declare the acts of the respondent No. 1 as criminal.
It is further prayed that the respondents Nos. 2 and 3 may be directed to register a criminal case under. The appropriate law and he be dealt with strictly in accordance with law."

According to the averments of the writ petition, the petitioner's brother Shaukat Hayat, a serving Patwari Canals, received injuries at the hands of Umar Hayat alongwith seven others and a case F.I.R. No. 524/08 was registered under Sections 337-A(ii)/337-F(i)/337-F(vi)/337L(ii)/452/109/ 148/149, PPC at Police Station Mandi Bahaud-Din on 30.10.2008 at the instance of Muhammad Afzal, the brother of the present petitioner.
3. Learned counsel submits that Tahir Nawaz, respondent. No. 1 was entrusted with the inquiry and on the intervention of the respectables, compromise was effected and the accused sought pardon from the petitioner and his family members and also agreed to pay Rs. 8,00,000/- as compensation for the injuries and sufferings faced by them. Learned counsel further submits that the respondent No. 1 was entrusted a cheque of Rs. 8,00,000/- which was retained by him as a trust and the whole matter was resolved and pacified between both the parties and according to the compromise, the injured and the PWs appeared before the learned Magistrate and made statements to the effect that they did not oppose the post arrest bail.
4. After hearing learned counsel for the parties and perusing documents annexed with this petition, I have noticed that there is a letter dated 28.9.2009 written by the Regional Police Officer Gujranwala region to City Police Officer Gujranwala in which it is stated that a cheque of Rs.
8,00,000/- was kept with Tahir Nawaz, DSP as guarantee and the same was to be handed over to the petitioner after implementation of compromise. According to the report, the version of the petitioner during investigation was found correct and matter was referred to The Regional Police Officer Gujranwala to resolve the same by calling both the parties.
5. Let a copy of this petition alongwith its annexes be sent to the I.G. Police Punjab, Lahore to look into the matter and pass an appropriate order after taking into consideration all facts and circumstances of the case and also the prayer made by the petitioner in this petition. The petitioner may also move an application for cancellation of bail granted to the accused persons of F.I.R. No. 524/08, dated 31.10.2008 registered with Police Station Mandi Bahaud-Din.
6. With the above observations, the petition stands disposed of. .
