1. Asif Mushtaq, petitioner filed this petition for recovery of damages s Rs, 01 lac on the ground that his connection of Suig as was disconnected by th respondent illegally.
2. The respondents were summoned and they had submitted their written replies.

5. Asif Mushtaq, petitioner appeared as witness and he produced the copy of bill Exp-PA. According to the evidence of petitioner, he had paid the bill of Gas Rs, 5570/- on 30.05.2009 and despite that his connection of Sui Gas Meter was disconnected. Hammad Tarrar, Respondent No.1 deposed that due to arrears of many months of Gas Bill of the petitioner, the Head Office at Faisalabad had directed for disconnection. Whenever, payment of bill was informed by the petitioner, the reconnection of Gas Meter was order by him. The Bill Exp-PA reveals that no payment of bill was made for the month of December, January and bill of Month of February, 2009 was 10780/- and only Rs, 6000/- were paid by the petitioner. It is evident that there were arrears of Sui Gas Bill and due to that Headquarter at Faisalabad had given disconnection order. It is evident from the record that whenever petitioner had informed Respondent NO.1 about the payment of complete bill then Respondent No.1 had ordered for reconnection of the meter. It is important to mention here that legal notice to the respondents were necessary prior to filing of this petition in the court. The original notice Exp-PF was in the possession of the petitioner, then there was no question of delivery of notice to the respondents. The petitioner could not prove he had given legal notice to the respondent according to law.
6. Keeping in view the above said circumstances the petitioner is failed to establish his claim according to law. Hence this petition is hereby dismissed. File be consigned to record room after due completion.
