1. M. SALEEM CHAUDHRY (CHAIRMAN).-The record has been produced. A perusal of the record reveals that the performance of the appellant had been adjudged to be poor in a number of years-1976 and 1977. The Reporting Officer observed that he was corrupt, dishonest and had remained under suspension. On 6-12-1977 he was penalised under rule 4 of the Punjab Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1975 by stopping his increment for one year without future effect for his failure to look after 11.74 acres area during Kharif 1976. The action was taken after proper investigation against him. In the circumstances, the order of his retirement passed by the XEN D, G. Khan, on 28-8-1978 appears to be unexceptional. We, therefore, find no good ground to interfere in the order. The appeal is accordingly rejected in limine.
