' SYED HAMID ALI SHAH, J.--- The petitioner has voiced his grievance against the respondents qua non-issuance of the call for interview for filling the vacancies of Laboratory Attendant. The stance of the petitioner is that an application for the said post (Annexure "B") was filed which was received by the respondents at Serial No,364.
2. The respondents filed parawise comments/reply, which reflect that the University has received no application. The receipt apparently contains the cutting, so far as second figure is concerned, figure 344 was changed into 364. The receipt statedly issued by the University, evidentiary receipt of application, is unsigned and contains stamp of the University only. The relevant entries in the "Letter Receipt Register" transpires that at Serial No,344 the application of Faisal Hayat son of M.
Hayat was received, while at Serial No,364 the application of Syed Fakhar Imam son of Syed Ashfaq Hussain was received. The Register being maintained in the normal course, is authentic document and it's entries are correct.
3. The entries in the register cannot be ignored, negated on the basis of bald scantly and general assertions. An unsigned receipt, containing incomplete information, is not enough to dislodge, routine entries in the public document. The disputed question of fact, as to whether or not the application was received even otherwise cannot be ascertained in writ jurisdiction. This petition has no merit and is accordingly dismissed in limine.
