1. Tariq Masih S/o Aroara Masih, complainant filed complaint in hand under section 25 Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005 before this court with the prayer that the proceeding against the respondents be imitated and his shop be sealed because he used to manufacture and sell injurious sweets and he be also directed to pay the damages to the complainant.

2. The brief facts relevant for the disposal of this complaint are that on 15-05-07 at about 11:30 AM complainant purchased two Kilogram Laduo (sweet) from the respondent. When the complainant presented the same before his guests, they after eating fell ill. From the sweet ill smell was also arising. The complainant requested that stern action be taken against the respondents. Therefore, the complaint in hand emerges.

3. The respondent was summoned and he put his appearance on 16-05-07 and submitted his written reply on 06-06-07 wherein he negated the averments of the complaint and requested for dismissal of the complaint.

4. On 14-06-07 the complainant filed an application under section 29 of Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005. Both the parties were directed to make a firm written offer for their settlement, stating the condition offered for the settlement. Through the written offer mark "A" the complaint submitted that the loss incurred to him was 15000/- and Counsel fee 5000/- rupees. If the respondent compensates the complainant he is ready to withdraw his complaint. The respondent accepted the offer mark "B" made by the complainant and the case was adjourned for 20-06-07.

5. The complainant received the compensation 15000/- as well as fee of his counsel 5000/- rupees before this court from the respondent issued a receipt mark "C". In this way the grievances of the complaint has been redressed. The respondent No. 1 Arfan was deleted as per statement of the complainant from the list of the respondents. The respondent is further directed to improve his quality and be careful in future other wise stern action will be taken against him. With this observation this complaint is disposed off. File be consigned in the record room after due completion.
