1. A counter-affidavit by one Shahzad Ali Naqvi, District Government, has been filed, wherein it is acknowledged that finalization of transfer of the plot in favour of the petitioner has been delayed on account of the fact that the relevant file had been misplaced and that all procedural requirements would be fulfilled as soon as the file is reconstituted. Learned counsel undertakes to assist the concerned Officials in the reconstitution of the file. We would order that such file be reconstituted within three months from today.
2. In view of the statement made in the above-affidavit, Mr. Gohar Iqbal does not press this petition.
3. The petitioner however, would be at liberty to initiate fresh proceedings in case the grievance is not redressed within three months. The petition stands disposed of.
