2. Heard.
3. According to the contents of the writ petition the petitioner is a blind person as per medical certificate "Annex. F". He is to appear in B.A. Examination commencing on 22-12-2004. The grievance being made out is that he has filed an application requesting the respondent-University Authorities to provide him Amanuensis in terms of the University Regulations. The application is being processed but whereas the examinations are to commence on 22-12-2004 no order has been passed thereon. It has further been contended by the learned counsel that Roll number has also not been issued so far.
4. I have examined the copies of the documents appended with this writ petition. Relying upon the affidavit of the petitioner and the said medical certificate, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondents to pass an appropriate order strictly in accordance with the terms of the Regulations and appoint an amanuensis for the petitioner and while doing so should give sympathetic consideration to his contention that one of the persons nominated by him be so appointed, provided it is permissible in accordance with Regulations of the University. The Roll number be also issued accordingly without further delay.
5. Copy be issued Dasti to the learned counsel, to be presented before the respondents along with a copy of the writ petition and its annexures.
