ORDER

1. GHULAM RASOOL SHAIKH (CHAIRMAN).-It is an admitted position that the appellant was appointed as temporary Assistant Professor (Grade-18) on ad hoc basis for a period of 6 months or till the selectee of the Sind Public Service Commission became available whichever be earlier.

2. Subsequently the appointments were advertised and the appellant as well as the others appeared before the Commission. The appellant was rejected by the Commis--sion and, therefore, he was reverted to Grade-17. Against his reversion he filed an appeal to the Secretary Health and then to the Martial Law Administrator, Zone `C'. Subsequently the present appeal had been filed.

3. From the statement of facts it is plain enough that the appellant ha no case on merits. He was appointed on ad hoc basis subject to the confirma--tion by the Sind Public Service Commission but he was not selected Consequently he could not be allowed to retain the post for which he was appointed on ad hoc basis subject to certain conditions which were no fulfilled.

4. In result the appeal is summarily dismissed.
