ORDER

' It is pleaded that the petitioner being major and sui juris has contracted marriage with Muhammad Akram of her own freewill and volition on 5-8-2004 against the wishes of her father Ghulam Farid respondent No.3, who has approached respondent No.1, who at his behest is forine and intimidating the petitioner and her husband to revoke their marriage and is interfering in their peaceful matrimonial life. Through this petition the directions of this Court have been sought to restrain the respondent No. 1 from causing illegal harassment to the petitioner and her husband.

2. The petitioner and her husband are present in the Court. They have placed on file copy of Nikahnama, the contracts of which they affirm in the Court. The petitioner being major and sui juris can contract marriage of her own free-will and volition and while doing so has committed no offence. The petitioner and her husband are legally wedded wife and husband. The respondent No.1 has no legal business to illegally harass or intimidate them or to interfere in their peaceful matrimonial life. He is directed not to harass or intimidate the petitioner and her husband to force them to revoke their marriage.

3. Let copy of this order along with petition he sent to D.P.O. Faisalabad, who will ensure strict compliance of this order by the respondent No. 1.

4. The petition stands disposed of.
