ORDER SH. AZMAT SAEED, J.- The primarily grievance raised by the petitioner is that the goods imported by the petitioner are not being released by the respondents due to non-assessment of duties. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that due to the delay on behalf of the respondent, the goods are liable to depreciate. . The learned counsel for the respondents states that the matter can be decided and shall be decided expeditiously in any event either final or provisional assessment shall be made within a fortnight from today.

3. in view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents, it is directed that the respondents/department shall decide the matter of assessment either finally or provisionally through a speaking order to be communicated to the petitioner within 15 days from today.
